About

With over a decade of experience, we are personal injury lawyers who believe trust is earned—not marketed.

We’ve spent years working in high-volume personal injury practices, handling complex cases and advocating for injured clients day in and day out. That experience shapes how we practice. It taught us what works, what doesn’t, and—most importantly—what clients need after an accident: clarity, consistency, and a lawyer who takes their situation seriously.

We cut the small talk and focus on results because behind every injury is a real person counting on our due diligence.

This is personal injury law, practiced with purpose. We are a modern firm driven by traditional values. No fees, until we succeed.

Meet the team

I’m a Houston native, born and raised, and I approach my work with preparation, discipline, and respect for the people I represent.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Lamar University and my Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. I’ve worked as a personal injury attorney, law intern, and judicial law clerk, gaining a practical understanding of how cases are evaluated, negotiated, and resolved. Through my work at reputable law firms, I have helped secure millions in personal injury settlements by staying focused, prepared, and client-centered.

I’ve also worked in nonprofit, local and federal government, and tax law, and served over 13 years in the United States Army Reserves. Those experiences shaped my approach to advocacy—steady, disciplined, and grounded in accountability and trust.

Our firm is built on being accessible, prepared, and honest. As a founding partner of Stephens & Owoyemi I believe clients deserve clear communication, real attention, and an attorney who takes their case personally.

Outside of supporting your cases, I live an active, health-driven lifestyle, value time with family and friends. I am an avid fan of music, sports, and enjoy studying history and global affairs—a perspective that keeps me grounded in everything I do.
I am a native Houstonian, personal injury attorney, and founding partner of Stephens & Owoyemi, where I combine experience, strategy, and compassion to fight for the rights of injury victims. I believe that strong advocacy begins with preparation, clarity, and trust, and I bring that philosophy to every case I handle.
I earned my B.A. in Political Science from the University of Houston and my J.D. from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. During law school, I clerked for the NAACP and several respected firms and contributed to drafting legislation that continues to shape Texas law. These experiences sharpened my skills as an advocate and reinforced my commitment to principled, results-driven representation.

I honed my expertise at Texas’ largest high-volume plaintiff personal injury firm, mastering case strategy, negotiation, and client advocacy. Over the course of my career, I have successfully represented countless personal injury victims, recovering millions of dollars annually by taking a hands-on approach and ensuring every client is informed, respected, and protected. As a founding partner, I approach every case with focus, precision, and purpose. Clients can expect clear communication, strategic advocacy, and an unwavering commitment to achieving meaningful results.

Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with family, attending sporting events, and cooking—pursuits that fuel my creativity and balance my professional life.
